HTML Editor

When editing a subpage you can click on (easy edit) to bring up an editor which allows you to easily insert advanced HTML code. This can help you make your page much more exciting. However, if you want to do it yourself without using the advanced editor, it's really quite easy. For example if you want to make something bold, surround the text you want to be bold with <b>like this</b>. You can also make text <i>italic<i>, <u>underlined<u>, <tt>type-writer style<tt>. Tips for using special effects

First off don't go overboard. Too many special effects can make your page hard to read. Also, too many special effects will cause the page to load slowly for users with slow internet connections. Don't make make long string of text have a special effect, but instead use short bursts for maximum impact. Next, make sure that they are used in an interesting manner. For example you could use the rainbow effect to emphasize something or the random colors effect to show your mood. Above all, be creative and have fun!

Secret Messages

Secret messages are one of our more popular features. To use them simply type [username:message]. When "username" visits only username will see the message.

However, and this is very important, it is impossible for us (in fact for anyone) to guarantee that only "username" can view your secret message. Under normal circumstances no one besides the specified person will be able to view the secret message, but it is possible for someone with technical knowledge of AIM to pretend to be that person, bypassing our security system. Please DO NOT say anything that will cause undue embarrassment to your friends if someone else should view your secret messages. If you believe someone is trying to view your secret messages, look for unusual entries in your visitor log (on the admin page click on the view visitors button).

Also, please note that your secret messages will only be available when your profile is viewed from within AIM.
