What is Buddy4u?

Buddy4u is a nifty tool to complement your AIM profile (though you can still use buddy4u without using AIM). This tool arose out of a severe limitation in AIM. Your profile could only be a couple of pages long! Well fortunately, AOL was nice enough to allow third party webpages to integrate seamlessly into your AIM profile. Voila! Buddy4u was born to allow longer, cooler, and niftier profiles than ever before!

Okay, let's do it! How do I get started?

It's easy! First sign up and fill out a short form. Then write your profile. You don't have to do it all at once and you can tweak it all you want later, so don't worry if it's not perfect. Next, you'll get a piece of code you need to paste into your AIM profile (or onto a website, if that's your cup of tea). Be sure to copy this code exactly or it won't work properly. Then view your own profile and there it is, ready for you visitors to admire! If it's not perfect, go back and edit your page until it's just the way you want it.

What are some cool things I can do with my profile?

Well you can have a guestbook, a quote of the moment from over thirty different categories of quotes, unlimited pages where you can write all you want, links to your fav sites, a list of your best buds, rockin' color schemes, and cool special effects! You're only limited by your imagination. :-)
